Leupold Freedom 1x34mm Reflex Red Dot Sight
This optic would be perfect if it wasn’t for the “dot bleed”… It is in my opinion the best size and weight red dots for your carbine. I bet it’s near indestructible as well, being a Leupold. But I just couldn’t get used to the bleeding of the dot. So I traded it to a buddy of mine for some yard work.

Best mount for your Leupold scopes hands down? I thought my older Mark 1 IMS mounts was the bee’s knees, but this mount is a step ahead. I’m currently working on getting more to replace the older mounts I have on my optics. I highly recommend.

The best non-illuminated LPVO

Easily the best non-illuminated LPVO I’ve ever owned, and I’ve gone through dozens these past ten years. Crystal clear glass, indestructible, and the locking turret is dynamite. Pair this with Leupold’s aluminum flip caps and their rock solid cantilever mount and you’re good to go.

Aimpoint Micro H-2 2 MOA Red Dot Sight
Paired with a Marlin Dark 1895 45-70, this very well could be the best upgrade of all time! Seriously though, I have a wide variety of optics on a ton of different rifles. But this is easily my favorite. If I could afford to replace my all of my LPVOs, red dots, and holographic sights on all of my rifles with these Aimpoints I would.

great scope

For the price, it’s pretty hard to beat the Leupold freedom line. I’ve had a freedom 3-9 scope on my Remington 700 rifle in 308 for about a year now, and the setup just plain works. I will be ordering one of the 2-7 models soon.

Quake Claw Slimline Sling Black 58000-3
Easily the best hunting sling that I own. I own a good many hunting rifles, and for those rifles I own even more slings. The slings I own range from cheap $10 slings to expensive $100 slings. This quake has just about all of them beat. The simplicity of it is what I love the most. It’s relatively light and I’m a huge fan of it not slipping while I’m humping through the Alaskan bush after moose or bear. I’ll be buying more for my other rifles.

My vise block clamp came assembled correctly, and worked as it should clamping my stag arms upper in place so I could work on it. I highly recommend this product for any DIY gunsmiths out there. And as always Optics Planet came through perfectly.

Ruger Magazine MINI-30 7.62X39 10 Round
FINALLY! Some mags for my mini 30 that actually work. The cut at the front of the magazine is a little lower than my factory 20 rounders. And OPTICS PLANET ACTUALLY HAD THEM IN STOCK! I looked all over the webs for factory 10 rounders and everywhere was sold out except here.

Spikes Tactical ST Battle Trigger Set
This trigger is a quite a bit smoother that your run of the mill milspec AR trigger. It’s not as good as the higher end trigger groups, but it is an upgrade. Paired with a JP springs kit, I’m happy with my current build. I will be ordering more for my next project.
