If you hold this charging handle just the right way when it's not on the rifle, it functions as ambidextrious. When it's on my rifle it simply will not function properly. There is no leverage on the locking side of the charging handle, and unless you point it up in the air and shake it letting gravity pull it downward it will not work. Buyer beare.

Anyone considering buying one of these barrel nuts... BE WARNED!!! This will not be able to be installed with any armorers tool that I have found with the exception of the Tapco Intrafuse wrench! They can say you can use a standard milspec wrench, but it's ac dirty lie! This is a well known problem online once you start trying to figure out why all your milspec armorers tools won't work on it. They're a little fussy about getting the hole in the proper position to fit the gas tube through, but that's the least of the problems. Also, the Tapco wrench that works for this nut is now not available because they've been discontinued or "out of stock", and since they're discontinued, probably always will be. Also, the holes the wrench goes in are way too close to the edge of the nut so be very careful when torque is set. Great idea, horrible execution with this model barrel nut...
