Great Range Bag

Written on Oct 10, 2025

This range bag has so much storage. The door is dividers in the main compartment are perfect size for electronic ear pro, range finders etc. The bottom compartment that has the hard bottom is great for tools.

In my opinion Eylar cases are just as good if not better than Pelican.

I own a couple Pelican Vaults. I have heard a lot of good things about Eylar cases. It's definitely built well and it's stout. You aren't buying a lightweight case. The little pull and pluck cubes come apart easy to customize the inside of whatever you want to put in. For me the ease of the customizable pull and pluck foam over cutting of the Pelican Vault foam is the deciding factor. I will be buying a couple more in the future for some different rifles. Oh it also has the air pressure valve. After I got the lid closed with my gear inside, I turned the air release and a little bit of air came out. Pretty neat. Measure your rifle and add a minimum of 4" to the case size. My rifle is 40" overall and it barely fit with two layers of foam cubes on the ends. Sizing up is ok, you can't shrink your rifle.

Just what I wanted

Written on Jul 05, 2025

I have a 300 blackout suppressed. 105. Barrel with a BCM 9" handguard. But I've always thought the handguard covering part of the suppressor looked cool. Plus I love MI stuff. Well I got it installed, which was super easy, and not only did it look cooler than I thought it would it also gave me more real estate to put a light on it without it effecting my grip.

Walker razors

Written on Nov 03, 2024

All my electronic ear pro are Walkers. They work fantastic. I even bought a couple pairs of the mic adapters for comms with a 2nd or 3rd person and those work great also. Highly recommend these for electronic ear pro and they don't break the bank like some other brands.

Great Back Pack

Written on May 04, 2024

I needed a new backpack for my daily travels and came across this one and it was water resistant. It is built very well, the zippers are top notch. I liked it so much when opticsplanet had them on sale then a special offer I couldn't pass up getting another one. I also highly recommend getting the water proof duffel bag

Great mlok rail

Written on Mar 30, 2024

The kinetic development mlok rails seem to be built better. The mlok nuts OK on the back are made of better steel than some of the others I've tried. So whenever I need a rail I always get kinetic. The finish on them is exceptional. Whether you use it for a forward handguard or light it will work great. The true test was when I was having issues with mlok rails on my AR10. After I installed the kinetic 7 slot I had no more issues

It's a Vortex!

Written on Mar 13, 2024

I had a friend keep telling me to check out Vortex red dots and LPVOs. After checking out one of my friends vortex viper 1-8x24 I was super impressed. Even the strike eagle 1-8x24 OPMOD is awesome for the price. The glass on the Viper series is legit. I'm not a good enough shooter to justify getting a Razor. My hunting rifles are now equipped with Vortex Viper HS 4-16x44 & 4-16x50. Both are SFP. I'm not taking any super long distance shots at deer or elk so really no need for SFP. I now have a set of Vortex OPMOD binoculars and absolutely love them.

Great Stock

Written on Mar 12, 2024

I use this stock or the BCM Sopmod MOD 0. BCM doesn't have OD Green so that's why I went the B5 for my 308. The B5 is easier to remove from the buffer tube if that matters to you or not. The cheek weld is good and there are 2 storage compartments on the stock for batteries or whatever.
