If you really want to save the money this is still a good buy. Couldn’t quite give it 3/5 stars though. These are demo’d units! But I didn’t expect to see it as bad as this. But first the pros…
Pros:
1) Gen 3 is awesome!
2) Auto-gated is the way to go!
3) Manual gain is excellent!
Cons:
1) Medium sized artifact. Not too bad though.
2) When my unit is at its brightest there’s hairline fractures all over the outside lens you can see. It’s really unfortunate and I’m worried about humidity and water getting in there. Because of this it gets a 2 star.
I really didn’t think these units would be damaged and I didn’t think OpticsPlanet Planet would sell damaged stuff especially for this price! But, they did. I’d warn others to pass. Contemplating sending mine back. I’d recommend buying new.
