Significant upgrade to my existing setup
Written on Jul 05, 2017
My older 8x binocs were good, from a major manufacturer that I still like quite a bit. With that said, these Sig's are in a league of their own. As I often wear sunglasses while hiking and glassing, the eyecup adjustments are easy to use, and quick to focus. The tactical appearance is fun, but not the reason I chose them. I have older eyes, and needed the clarity that good glass could provide.
They do come with a standard case which is not much to talk about. I have replaced it with a chest harness to enable fast access while hiking.
I chose the 11 power as one of the strongest magnifications I could support quickly without resorting to either a larger binocular or a tripod/monopod.
I looked at the other Zulu versions, and while I haven't tried them, I did go for the best. So far, not disappointed.
