I loved everything about the SI dust cover, it’s looks, install, functionality, even the price. My problem was the upper. The cover would not snap flush when closed and I had to de-bur some of the plastic to make it fit. Not a big deal, but it’s one more thing I hate about my upper I currently have -whole other story-. As far as I know, SI wouldn’t have success selling these if they didn’t fit any of the uppers, so I think my upper is the problem and not the cover. My advise: know what you are working with. In this instance it is kind of hard -and don’t think I didn’t research these things- but .308 is kind of new and equipment is not mass produced yet, so I went in blind For the most part. That’s why I don’t mind a little tweaking here and there, but if you are buying for flash and not basic function, know what you have.

Priced these everywhere else and optics had them $30 cheaper here on average. Comes in timney packaging and everything. Love it and recommend buying anything you need here. My only problem with optics planet is their lag in showing things purchased and processed on your account with them. I purchased something 4 days ago and I’m not sure if it went through yet or not. Other then that, stick with them!
