Review for
Wilson Combat Gas Tube
Well made. Works very well. Gas block pin went through the hole in the gas tube easily. Machined accurately.

works well

I haven’t shot the gun yet that this is installed on so I can’t say how effective it is. The photo shows the muzzle brake, crush washer, and a lock washer. Mine didn’t come with a lock washer, only a crush washer. I have indexing washers for this size so I used those to set it up correctly on the muzzle. It’s on a .458 SOCOM 10.5” barrel. It’s relatively large but it looks like it will work to reduce muzzle rise. There’s ports on one of the flat horizontal surface and none on the other one so it’s easy to know which side is up. It’s well made and has a nice finish on it. It’s machined nicely and it’s very affordable.

Quality magazine. Easily installs and is removed. Drops out smoothly from the gun. Very nicely made. Can be used with many different types of ammo and bullet designs. Good price for a high quality magazine. Bought several of these. Will probably buy a few more in the near future.

well made and easy to install

This adapter didn’t take long to install and was pretty easy. I used removable thread locker on the two set screws that goes in an angle pressing on the front interior of the magazine well of the lower receiver. There’s another screw that holds down the adapter in the magazine well. The adapter is very secure in the mag well and doesn’t move around at all. The only adjustment I needed to do was bend the ejector in a little bit because the magazine wouldn’t click into place because the ejector was in the way. I just needed to bend it slightly in for the magazine to clear the ejector and have it in the right position to eject the cartridges. I haven’t shot the gun so I don’t know how it actually works while shooting it. I took a mix of round nose and flat point cartridges and ran it through the gun. It mostly fed well except some cartridges, while holding the gun sideways, would make some of the cartridges fall into a void behind the magazine inside the upper receiver. I don’t know if it would do this if I actually shot cartridge through the gun but it happened just working the bold carrier back manually. It fed most of the round-nose and flat-point cartridges into the chamber and ejected them smoothly. I won’t know until I actually shoot the gun. The price was good and it’s well made out of aluminum and steel. It’s very sturdy and doesn’t move inside the magazine well once the set screws are tightened. The adapter is a pretty snug fit in the magazine well. The or

high quality

I haven’t tried using this barrel yet so I can’t comment on its accuracy. I do see that it’s made of high quality parts, bore is chrome-lined, and has a nice finish on all the parts. I ordered and installed a front sight parts kit as there isn’t one installed in the front sight tower. I have many parts for the delta ring assembly as there’s only the barrel nut installed on it. But at least you can finish assembling the delta ring parts without having to remove the front sight tower. They installed a short tube that just sticks out the inside of the ring to keep it from shifting since the barrel is for a blow-back type with no gas tube. I was, at least for me, that the front sight tower is not “F” marked because I’m using a Luth-AR early M-16 style upper receiver with a carry handle as part of the receiver. I won’t have a problem with the front and rear sights at different heights. I needed to touch up the finish on the front sight tower pins. They had some wear on them. The description of this barrel states that it’s a pistol length gas system. There’s no gas system and my standard carbine-length plastic handguards fit perfectly. The barrel wasn’t inexpensive but it is made of high quality parts and looks very nice. The installation of the barrel was easy. Because there’s no gas system you don’t need to index the barrel nut to the gas tube hole in the upper receiver. For what I’m using the barrel for, it was exactly what I needed and hopefully will be accurate

great price

I haven’t used this ammo yet. I purchased several boxes of it because, of all the 460 S & W magnum ammo I’ve seen, this is the least expensive of all of them. I purchased reloading dies, shells, and bullets so that I can reload this ammo and make more of this cartridge. It’s very reasonably priced and looks like it’s a very good quality ammo. I won’t know how accurate it is until I use some of it. I’ll probably be purchasing a few more boxes of this ammo in the near future.

my favorite anti-walk, anti-rotating hammer/trigger pins
Written on Sep 14, 2025
I have these KNS anti-walk/anti-rotating hammer/trigger pins on all my AR’s. I’ve tried other ones but found that other brands are not as well made or don’t work as well as these. They’re high quality, very well made products. They work exactly like advertised.

well made and reliable

I’ve purchased several of these magazines for several AR-10’s that I have. They all feed and work in all of them. The cartridges that they use are in .308 Win., .243 Win., and 6.5 Creedmoor. They’re my favorite magazines for the AR-10’s.

I bought two of these for AR’s that have a looped cord on the ends of the slings. They’re very well made and work good. They look nice and can be mounted anywhere on an M-Lok handguard.

Review for
NcSTAR Vism Carbine Pistol Case, 28in
This is a very good gun case for AR pistols or short rifles. It’s not fancy and not heavily padded but I’m using it just to store an AR-15 pistol in it at home. I have thicker, more padded cases for transporting to the rifle range. For the cost it’s well made and serves my purposes of storage of the gun at home. I bought a big bag of those moisture absorbing pouches and put a few in there like I do in other storage boxes and containers. I would buy a few more of these in the near future.
