Ran my rifle so hard I could see heat distortion through the sights, and the receivers got so hot I couldnt grip my rifle by the magwell. This held up perfectly

NCSTAR 3X Magnifier w/Flip to Side QR Mount
It wobbles in either lock position, not only that but you can literally unlock it and it overextends each locking position, including touching the base of the mount below the actual “deployed” position. Also it just spontaneously falls apart, no joke

Eliminates upper/lower rattle. Just a heads up, it makes takedowns a lot harder, the rear receiver pin becomes stiff and you have to make sure the wedge doesn’t fall out upon opening the receiver. Just a tip, use the tip (pun?) of a bullet to push the pin out, makes it easy

To start off, at first it seems “great”, but 3 years later, first off when firing the light turns off for a millisecond, not very recoil shock proof huh? Also the pressure pad, after so many adjustments the velcro straps snap, and apparently I cant find any replacements online for the pads (keep reading), unlike streamlight/surefire etc. EVEN BETTER, the rubber pressure pad itself, in 2/3 of my Crimson brand lights has actually started to physically come out of the plastic housing, like physically popping out and you can’t just push it back it. Oh well, I repurposed them as regular flashlights.

Light mounting strapped snapped in half after adjusting, flashlight is loose in the most terribly designed complex mount I have ever seen, and WHY DOES IT USE TORX SCREWS YOU CLOWNS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Internal sight is canted, rear iron sight came canten, fiber optic sight is too thick, your face has to be snug against the scope in order to use it, probably will shatter in any actual use and it looks obnoxious
