I'm not able to make this work with Echo Sport, yet. I *think* I have an H2 buffer and don't think the Strike flat-wound springs are as stout as Tubb flat-wounds. Or maybe you need the regular Echo. That said, the carrier worked flawlessly in conjunction with a Matador Mag-X adapter. Not saying it won't, just I think I need to tweak parts to get it going.

I looked for one of these handguards after watching Blowback9's video on a take-down AR9, and it worked fine in that role.

Everyone should keep a set like this around, whether building or maintaining an AR. It's inexpensive and compact enough to store most anywhere.

For a little more than Chinese rails with cheap hardware, try these. Made in USA and comes with a wrench.

Will hold an 11.5" barrel/mini Breek flash hider on an AR pistol with Cry Havoc QD and LAW Tactical folder, along with some magazines. It seems sturdy and is made in Vietnam.

These mate perfectly with the diameter of the large-diameter UAR handguards, which usually incorporate part of the overall design, somewhat precluding M-LOK slots. So if you have one of them, you will need these rail sections for accessories.

BA barrels are always a solid choice, but not being dimpled is something to consider. On one hand, you have freedom to use gas blocks with any set screw spacing, but on the other hand, you almost need to factor a dimpling jig into the cost. Certainly, one can use a clamp-on gas block, but personally I want at least a dimpled barrel for sure alignment. That said, every BA barrel I have is a shooter.

TBH, I don't care for grips with finger grooves, but the folding feature was what I bought it for. That said, it feels great in the hand. The palm swell and texture are on-point, and the detent button makes for a natural thumb rest. The storage area is small, but a nice bonus. A MAGPUL grip screw fits fine, and installation is intuitive. Honestly, I'm pretty pleased with it. If you're using it with a Law Tactical folder, it will need ~1/8" of the tail trimmed.

Install is super easy, and everything indexes correctly. Just waiting on my barrel to finish.

This grip exceeded my expectations in all respects. The clear finish and the tight grain on the wood inserts, the dull luster of the metal, and the presentation-grade packaging-the grip is nested in crinkled paper and has all the hardware including an Allen wrench. The grip inserts themselves are very slightly proud of the metal, having the slightest beveling. The overall feel is of roughly a standard hand-filling profile.
