I just ordered a second bcg for my other sbr. I have run one of these through all of my shorties to test it. This drastically reduces back pressure and gas to your eyes when running suppressors. I would not get this for a full size rifle with a mid length gas, kinda under gases the gun could create some reliability issues. However this is flawless in my 10.5, and 11.5 guns. The nitride on this is super smooth, not as smooth as a good nib bcg. Really smooth due to the reduction of contact points. Honestly my favorite bcg. I love my spikes, and fail zeros. This is a cut above for anything short.

Ran about 100 rounds through an ar 9 build with this bcg. Ran fine but it wasn’t until I tried to unload the gun that I notice the extractor came out at some point and disappeared. The gun actually ran on just blow back and the ejector. Pretty disappointed that it came out that quick though. Injury to insult I have tried three times to resolve it with maxim. Through phone calls and email. Nothing... cq and customer service leave something to be desired.
