Decent brake

This is an effective brake that works pretty good. I bought this one as well as a YHM Phantom (about $40 cheaper) and the Phantom is more effective. This one looks cool but the design does not justify the price. But it works.

I put this on an 18" upper .223. It does a good job with handling muzzle rise allowing you to stay on target. But, you will absolutely want to use hearing protection as this thing really directs sound rearward. If you want a effective brake this is the one to get.

Decent Grip

This is a decent grip. If you are someone with smaller hands then a Hogue grip will give you much better control as this grip is a bit bulky. I put one of these on an AR for my wife (her hands are small) and I noticed right off that even for my hands, the grip was a little big. I ordered a Hogue grip to replace it with as it is a little smaller and I prefer the amount of control you get with the hogue. I will use the Fab Defense on another build. It fit perfectly on the and the beavertail contour had a good feel. I do recommend it.
