Review for
SKB Cases 3614-6 M4/ Short Rfle Case
I bought this case without foam. Instead of relying on foam to pad my firearms, I put my firearms in a soft-sided discreet carry case (i.e. Vanquest RACK-IT 26, Gen 2), and then when additional protection or security is required, I put the soft case with gun, inside of this SKB case. This allows any firearm I want to be carried in this case without having multiple sets of custom cut foam. SKB makes an excellent case, on par with its competitors. I find the latches to be more intuitive to use than most others, and the four steel-reinforced padlock holes are a big plus (compared to plastic on other brands). Inline skate-style wheels are also much nicer than the plastic wheels of other brands.

The best pistol brace, hands down.

Is it more expensive than other options? Yes. Is it worth the cost? Absolutely.
I originally had a shockwave blade on my 10.5" AR pistol, but I clearly wasted my money and should have sprung for this brace initially. 3 position adjustability is adequate. I keep it stored collapsed, and commonly shoot it at the second position out for bracing against my cheek. Fully extended, "unintentional" contact with your shoulder is very comfortable if you so choose. There is a slight amount of wobble, but it is not noticeable during use.
