The anodized green looks really cool, fits the threads snug and covers a little over an inch of the barrel. Only thing is why is it so expensive for color? Other than the price this shroud/break is great to cover that empty space between your rail and end of the barrel and fits for a sleek transition. Not many other options out there.
I learned that thermal is a rising tech I needed to learn and understand, especially for hog or coyote hunting or nighttime perimeter checks around the campsite. The RH-25 is my first thermal, and I’m glad I dove in and broke the bank to get one. I have it rigged to a KVC Bridge with OSS Shoe on the left paired with my PVS-14 on the right. If you can get one, get it. Buy once cry once, you can’t go wrong with the RH25. I bet the dudes who got this at $6K are eating their hats right now. I would be too.
Slapped this Sweet 22 onto my Dovetail mounted Marlin Model 60 .22LR and zeroed it in at 50 yards in no time.
Windage and elevation knobs are 1/4 MOA with positive audible/tactile clicks. Knobs move in the same direction the arrows point: up/down left/right, not opposite like some knobs.
Holds zero just fine, have not tried using in austere weather and probably won’t but it’s a heavy and solidly constructed scope considering the price.
Also includes several knob caps depending on the .22LR ammo grain you are using for easier reference, but not sure if it’s all necessary to switch out.
If you order this you’ll have to wait a few weeks to months before they can ship since everything is screwed up these days, but well worth the wait. The Comtac Vs come with 1 lead, microphone, & removable headband to mount on helmets. It has improved gel cups but I recommend getting the upgraded gel cups, especially if you’re running them all day. The down lead works with Disco 32s PTT that can plug directly into Baofeng UV-5R radios or anything like it. I also recommend double ear pro with foamies underneath. The noise reduction is around -22dbs, so it is still a little loud without foamies. But the electronic hearing is very crisp and sharp. Comtac Vs is what I recommend.
