Know what you are buying. I would not call it L3.

Blackhawk has brought some good thins to the table with this holster, but also needs to fix a few things. First the good. The ability for the belt loop to be put onto your belt without removing everything to slide it on is AWESOME. The loops grip the belt tight and the holster is locked into place. The add on leg strap (sold separately) is very comfortable and pivots to allow for natural leg movement. The holster is solid, and well built!
Now for what I see as the bad. If Safariland is the gold standard for weapon security… then this is where Blackhawk falls short. The release for this is actuated with your thumb (like Safariland). However, when you squeeze your thumb BOTH retention devices are released in one movement! This makes the holster a very fast draw but I worry about security. There is no way to separate the retention device releases or add an additional lock.
KNOW WHAT YOU ARE BUYING.. I would not call this Level 3 retention, more like Level 1+ or Level 2

BlackHawk is the reliable way to start!

BlackHawk give you the best bang for you buck when you are starting and trying to figure out what works best for you. They are fairly priced, and sized as advertised. Yes there are fancier and more expensive belts out there but while you are hunting the perfect setup just for you, use the BlackHawk while you figure it out.

Elite Survival Systems 2in Duty Belts
This did not come with the 3 button safety buckle for duty use. Could be easily unlatched and if worn as an outer belt cause issues! I will be contacting the manufacturer directly! Also this seems to fit larger than what I need. Why is it so hard to find a belt that fits?

Barska missed the target with this one

I bought this when I originally was buying my slug gun. I thought it would be the toughest end all scope for a 12 gauge. Let me say that right out of the box I was very disappointed! The quality (while armored) felt cheap and slipshod. The armor is a thick piece of rubber cut and glued into place. Not very well I might add. The seam was not lined up, not hidden and coming apart in spots. Around the turrets was the same issue. Just remember that your rings will be gripping this armor and not the scope.

Review for
Hornady Rechargeable Dehumidifier
I purchased one through amazon and was totally disappointed! After it needed recharging, I plugged it in and 12 hours later the indicator still had not changed! When I went to unplug it is when the real issue showed up with the weak plastic around the plug... desiccant beads started spilling everywhere! Needless to say I returned it... if you want a brand name that works good stick with the 365 or 500 model dehumidifier with the brand that starts with “R”, I have never had a problem with either of those!
