Great addition...

Written on Sep 05, 2014

I may try a tritium version next, but this was so affordable I couldn't resist. I really like the way this fiber optic grabs my eye when shooting in daylight. In low light it looks/works just like any iron sight would. Simple install with a front sight tool. I need to grind a bit off of the threads to make it seat a little lower for better zero, but that no big deal. The threads were a tad longer than my stock sight post, but not totally sure if my 45 degree set up may be a contributor. For the price, you can't lose! Oh, and my aging eyes may be another reason I love this sight post...

Love these sights...

Put these on my G23 long ago and immediately improved my accuracy (especially at distance) and speed of aiming. I prefer red front and green rear, but to each their own. My eyes just pick these sights up so much quicker that I don't lose time on such like I do with white dots, etc. They've held up very well. Put them on my G34 as well. Would I prefer the tritium version. Sure, but I can't find them in the color combo I want, and I run lights on both G's. No light - you won't see your sights obviously...light on and you see them just fine. Daylight - their awesome!
