Grivel Nepal Axe
Thank you OP. This was one of if not the best buying experience I’ve had. Easy to order, quick to ship and superb communication. Not to mention unbeatable prices! 10/10 would recommend.
About the axe.
Grivel is an awesome manufacturer of mountaineering equipment. Being that I am 6’3” , looking for an ice axe that is long enough to be comfortably used as a cane/walking stick, while light enough to not worry about fatigue, the GRIVEL SA Nepal ice axe in a size 74 was perfect for me. The build feels high quality, the steel is forged, the strap is removable and comes with a spike cover. Would love to have seen a pick and adze cover but it’s fairly standard that ice axes don’t come with those.
Can’t wait to test this on my next expedition
