Nice mag pouch

I added this to my AR500 Veritas carrier and 3+ steel plates from Tactical Scorpion Gear. It holds three Pmags securely but they aren't overly difficult to pull out. My plates are less than 1/4 inch thick so I could see how some thicker plates could add too much friction with the rubber material inside the pouch. I'm sure it will lose some of it's grip from repeated inserting and removing magazines. I really like how the mags are pulled close to the body and don't flop around like some Molle pouches can when I dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge.

AR500 Armor Veritas Modular Plate Carrier
I needed an affordable carrier that wasn't going to fall apart on me while doing "Murph" and other body weight workouts as well as hauling a pair of 10"x12" Level 3+ plates from Tactical Scorpion Gear. The mesh padding keeps plates from digging in and lets a little air in when I start sweating. I never thought I'd be the guy who buys body armor but with the level of insanity and social unrest rising in this country it seems to be getting more necessary every day. I also purchased the AR500 kangaroo mag pouch which fits 3 Pmags comfortably with good retention without adding too much bulk.

I shoot mostly on public ranges with bench rests set up at 25, 50, and 100 yards which is fine for rifles but not for shooting handguns. Most of my gear gets laid out on the bench rest and gun rack but for running pistol drills at closer ranges (3,7,10 yards) I always had to set stuff on the ground or walk back to the bench to reload magazines. It's nice to be able to throw a box or two of ammo, magazines, sharpies, gloves, staplers, etc. into this pouch. I was never issued one by the Army so I always considered a dump pouch to be just another piece of gear for mall ninjas and air-softers to attach to their gear to look tacti-cool but this thing is really practical.
