I paid about 900 dollars for this on sale. Disclaimer: I am a hobbyist shooter, not a professional

Pros:
- The audio quality is awesome
- Very easy to move and integrate onto helmets, did not need to cut headband
- Uses very easily acquired batteries
- Integrated downlead

Cons:
- Headset by itself is very expensive
- Compatibility with PTTs adds onto the cost. If you use a Baofeng or other cheap/common radio, you will need a amplified PTT with TP120/U-174 plug receptor for your voice to transmit properly. The proper amplified PTTs run anywhere from 140-250 dollars.
- Mic plugs in back are exposed to elements. Would like rubber caps for better protection.
- Does not come with 3M helmet adapters, those will run you an extra 80-100 dollars.

In summary: This is a fantastic product but if you are just a casual shooter who is not deep into the LARP, it is not worth the money. just buy Walkers, Sordins or Howard Leights and then add on aftermarket boom mics if you want to experiment with radios with friends.
