After a long wait it finally arrived, I’ve been waiting on this to complete my lower I’m building.
Finally I got the kids to bed and rushed downstairs to install it.

Everything seemed to go together smoothly, all. It toned up and time for function check.
Weird the safety will not budge. I remove, check, reinstall. Same issue, except this time I noticed that the spring for the safety was sticking out of the grip farther that I thought it should.

Off it comes again, I grab another AR, switch the grips and the safety works just fine.
I put this grip on the working AR, and the safety won’t budge.

I measured the hole depth for the safety detent spring, it’s 14mm on this grip by AB arms. 18mm on the one that works.

At 14mm, there isn’t enough travel and the spring is fully compressed. So then you go to switch the safety, it won’t budge because there isn’t any spring left.

After reaching out to AB arms support email several times, I gave up with them and drilled the hole to 18mm and it’s working fine.

1 star for the response by AB arms. After sending a faulty part they wanted me to pay to ship them back the part.

Ask, lots of flashing in the part that I had to trim off, not that big a deal as I typically do that with plastic pieces but nitpicking because I’m pissed.
