The material is surely tough enough. This pack is heavy. The way the shoulder straps attach at top puts a pinch on my neck but quality to price ratio is OK. I would probably not buy again for my use, your results may vary.

Gotta be good, my agency bought and issued to all firearm instructors. Few years later, they bought many more and issued to all for use at certification. In todays litigious society, not sure they would use an inferior product and be on the hook for future claims.

Review for
open-butt-stock-shell-holder
Not sure what the other reviewer uses his holder for or what weapon he mounted it on but I have used one since 1986, on the same rifle, same rounds, constantly loaded, and it is still going strong. No loss of elasticity to speak of, still gripping the cartridges securely. Guess like everything else, take opinions with a grain of salt and see for yourself.
