Monarch scope for the win!

I have owned Monarch scopes since they came out back in the 90's. Monarch's have always been bright and reliable scopes. This is the new Monarch 5 with ED glass. This scope is very bright and has a very flat field of view. The eye box is about the best I have seen, with generous eye relief. I bought this scope because I wanted the 2X power on the low side, while still having the 10X on the high side. This is the perfect Eastern scope where maximum light transmission and low power make it the best 1" tube "woods" scope you can put on your rifle. The only downside is that you may need high rings to mount this scope.
Good Knife, Great Steel

This is the Spyderco Native 5 lightweight with MAXAMET steel. It has the lightweight FRN (aka plastic) grips and does not have the serrated edge as shown in the picture. The main reason to buy this knife is the exotic Maxamet steel. Be warned, Maxamet is very difficult to sharpen well. Overall, it is a very compact, light and capable EDC.

These gold tubes are jewelry for your gun. They also work fantastically well. You can install without a choke wrench and identify them with just a glance. They are priced in line with other top shelf tubes. The Browning Diana tubes are manufactured by Briley. None better.
