In terms of performance, this product beats out everything else at its price point. It's better than the low end DBALs, with its slaved laser and focusable illuminator. The included tapeswitch is pretty nice, but the cable is ridiculously long. It uses a standard crane connector though, so you can upgrade to TNVC TAPS if you want. The controls are nice. I love the lens cover.

The max range of the illuminator is just over 100 yards. The laser can go out to 500. Its a great option for civilian defensive use.

However, there is one glaring flaw with this product. It almost makes it a dealbreaker. its TOO TALL!! Do not expect to be able to top-mount this on your rail. With a standard height aimpoint, the red dot almost touches the top of the unit. Ridiculous... most of your view is blocked. Even with an upgraded lower-3rd aimpoint mount, i barely have any room below the dot. You must side mount or bottom mount this. I ended up getting a low profile mlok rail section and side mounted it.

Overall its a nice budget unit, good for the cost. It holds me over until I get a MAWL. If I was to ask holosun one thing, it would be to make this unit lower profile.
