Review for
TRYBE Optics 10x42mm ED/HD Binoculars
I purchased this binocular after searching and finding no reviews other than the two on this site. It seemed like a risk, yet I was interested enough in the manufacturer’s description and the design. These binoculars, by the way, appear to be related to the Delta Optical Chase, made by a Polish company.
I have spent a week or so with these now and I am impressed. I wear glasses and eye relief is a concern. These have 17mm of stated relief and it does allow a full view without black out. The center is very sharp. Softness does occur as you move towards the edge yet the drop off fades slow enough to not be noticed. The image comes up easily for me without having to fiddle with placement. The field of view is large and has an immersive quality to it that I haven’t found in this price range. I am not sensitive to chromatic aberration yet have another pair of binoculars that I really like that shows it. I have not noticed any while looking through the TRYBE.
The focus wheel is large and rotates smoothly. No play detected. The eye cups are narrow and might be an issue if you do not wear glasses. I tried them without my glasses, and they didn’t bother me. They do come with a set of winged eyecups that can be attached. The fit and finish is very good, and the binoculars feel well made. They feel light. A nice clam case is included. I haven’t used the neck strap, yet it looks decent. There are clips that can separate lower portion of the strap from the upper. This
