Update on my prior review titled Poor Quality Control

After emailing Mantis, they sent me troubleshooting questionnaire. This helped me diagnose the problem as a faulty USB cable that was included in the kit. It would have been helpful if the sparse instructions included with the kit were a little more complete. Knowing that 3 LEDs was a half charged battery, and that a full battery showed 5 LEDs might have helped diagnose a problem with the USB cable before contacting Mantis. The unit works well, and fulfills its intended role as a tool to help me dry fire more.

poor quality control

Quit working after about a dozen trigger pulls. Battery stopped charging, but it’s not clear if this is a battery issue or trigger reset module issue. The battery was fully charged, but will no longer take a charge.

Light, low profile

This light gives off an adequate amount of light. It's low profile, which is what I wanted. If low profile is unimportant, you can accomplish the same thing with a G3 and a mount. I don't use the strobe function, so that's not important for me to have on a light.
