Review for
Daewoo DH380 Pistol, .380 ACP, 3.8in barrel
I purchased a DH380 for backup and off-duty carry around 25 years ago. The anemic .380 caliber didn't bother me, as it was never intended to punch holes in tanks, and I never had a single malfunction with this pistol. It's a fairly close copy of a PP, not a PPK, so while you may lose some James Bond cred, you tend to hit what you're aiming at a lot better. Very comfortable to fire, even for guys with big ol' meathooks for hands, and the three-dot sights are miles ahead of an actual Walther. Slim, snag-free and easily concealed, this little gun simply has more class than a lot of tacticool modern competitors. Convince your local South Korean manufacturing conglomerate to resume production so you can get one today!

Big, But Versatile

This is a great entry-level way to get a rail on your FAL for a great price. Installation is easy and takes about two minutes. Remember to apply whatever durable rust preventative you prefer to the barrel first, as this isn't a part youre going to take off every time you clean the rifle. Also, its a good idea to grease the eear handguard ferrule to ensure smooth and consistent fore and aft travel of the rail system as the barrel heats and cools (like an M-14). Blue loctite is adequate for all screws involved, and don't over-torque the front attachment screw. Pretty intuitive part, which is good, because mine came without instructions. My only complaint is that the svelte forend of a normal FAL is gone once you apply this rail. The tradeoff is fair, though, as you get miles of rail space. Great value for the price.
