VISM PVC First Responders Utility Bag
Written on May 04, 2021
Since Optics Planet no longer produces their version of this bag, the OPMOD EDC Series P.A.C. 4.0 Personal Articles Carrier, (I own two of them) I opted for this one instead. It is virtually identical to the OPMOD bag which is exactly what I was hoping. The only thing it's missing is the ability to clip the shoulder strap attachment clips that remain attached to the bag together, once you detach the shoulder strap, to make a short carry handle. A small feature that I wouldn't have noticed was lacking if I didn't already own the OPMOD version of the bag. This is not a deal breaker at all, just an observation. The bag is stitched well, has smooth zippers and seems well constructed. For this price point I don't think you can beat this bag if this is the style you're looking for. I will buy again. Hopefully, NcSTAR will keep producing them.

OPMOD P.A.C. Bag

This is a great bag for the price. I have purchased two of these over time and have been satisfied with the value of this bag. I like the plastic zippers and all the pockets. The size is perfect for what I use it for.
I did have a small issue with my most recent order in that Velcro covers were missing from the mag pouches and customer service EXCEEDED my expectations to resolve the issue in a timely and very satisfying way. It's a shame this bag is being discontinued by the manufacturer as I've not seen a bag that comes close to matching the versatility of this design. For the reviewers that had trouble with the zipper pulls breaking, its a simple fix. The plastic pull that holds the cord can be popped open. Simply put the cord back inside and close the pull tightly together with a pair of pliers and it should stay closed. Most likely during production, some of the pulls are not closed properly.
My thanks to Optics Planets customer service team and Jennifer for their prompt assistance with my issue.
