This is actually my second Olight Baldr S. The first had a blue laser which doesn't always light the target very well depending on its color. It worked fine and it's still in use. But my next purchase was well researched prior to purchase and also by comparison because I own 4 other lasers for pistols. I chose this green laser Olight because of my disappointment with most of the other choices. But looking objectively, I believe that this light is as good or better than any and also comes at a lower price. It goes on without tools and comes off quickly the same way. The laser remains on target after many firings and I do like the mechanism of turning the light on with the tip of my finger on either side. The flashlight is 800 lumens and bright enough for nearly anything in range of a pistol. The charging system is excellent and rapid.

In summary, this Olight Balder S is an excellent choice and is exceedingly well made.

I have owned similar sights from Trijicon , all excellent. If there is a fault it is the lack of a set screw on the top. No matter in probably because the fit into the dovetail is tight and unlikely to slip. I have a set on a pistol about five years old and by comparison, the new sights are brighter. Still usable though and I expect the loss of about half brightness to occur after ten years. I like the contrasting color from the front sight (green) and the rear (orange). It does help center the front sight quickly.

I bought this pair of sights for my little Ruger LC9s thinking to improve my vision of the sights in dim light. To my surprise, they work well in every kind of light. Even my wife's shooting score has improved greatly. Who would have thought that changing sights would also change the gun. I had to obtain a sight removal tool to accomplish the task but the process went easily. Being careful to keep the new sights in the center line of the receiver insures that the gun will shoot accurately later.

I highly recommend the Tru Glow Pro set and I am looking to replace my other gun sights with this same set. Oh, by the way; the sights are really bright at 4:00 AM!
