Combat proven
Written on Mar 12, 2024
If you’re reading this then you know what’s up. ACOG/RCO: these things are bullet proof, reliable, work just as needed, and have over two decades of combat under their belts. Despite being considered obsolete, everyone still uses and plans on using these for the foreseeable future so don’t take my word for it. BDC is dead on. The illumination works relative to ambient light so it’s always bright enough to see, even in complete darkness thanks to the power of radiation. That’s right you might even get superpowers if you stare through it long enough. These things will make you feel like you’re clearing the city again with your boys. (Clone builders) or maybe feel like the guy from your favorite GWOT movie. I don’t know. It’s hard to hate on these. Oh, and the only way I can see it happening is if it takes a directly hit from a howitzer, the warranty covers it off it ever breaks!

Review for
Atibal Tactical Precision Mount 30mm QD
Best QD mount I’ve had yet for a decent price. Lots of little features and easy adjustment. Repeats zero well within .25 moa when removed and reinstalled.

Review for
Badger Ordnance Scope Ring 30 mm EBR
I use a tone of badger’s products and when I needed rings for an AR these were the appropriate dimensions. Most of badgers stuff is nice solid steel so it was a pleasant surprise that these aluminum rings had lightning cuts under the saddle radius to further lower the weight. Much lighter than all the other rings I use. They feel really solid and haven’t lost zero. My other badger rings included torque specs and these did not though so I winged it close to what other aluminum rings w/similar hardware use.

Review for
Magpul Industries MBUS Pro Flip Up Sights
Having used the cheaper magpul sights I figured these would be a slightly better option. These are absolutely fantastic. I got the front/rear combo. The front has a pivot where you can swap between a competition thin sight post or a standard thick sight post. With elevation adjustment too. The rear has great windage and range height adjustment. These feel SOLID, are low profile when folded and every flip or turn of a dial is crisp. Small details like anti glare where it’s needed was included too. Even has the wider combat peep you can flip down to see through.

Works great

Most hand guards have insert points for the push button sling swivels without the adapter. If you’re looking to have more range of placement that your hand guard doesn’t offer, then this is for you. Doesn’t spin 360 degrees though like I initially thought, only 12/3/6/9 clock position.

Great but broken
Written on Nov 27, 2021
I chose USO’s TS-20 over Nightforce’s NX8 due to price and curiosity. For half the price you get nearly the same features. Objective to eyepiece- The lenses and light transfer is immaculate. In direct sunlight there can be a flare. A sunshade may be needed if this is too distracting for you. The turrets feel a bit sluggish but the audible “click” is very distinct and crisp. Good for the price. Illumination is full reticle. Not a great feature. Magnification range is terrific and the dial is very smooth. Eyebox is nothing to worry about. It’s just right for the range of magnification and FFP. If you have anything bigger than .308 I’d worry about scope eye. Upon receiving the scope I had a reticle jerk when dialing magnification by .4 mils laterally and horizontally. The warranty covered the repair and all should be well for now. I hope I didn’t write this review too soon. I have to use this on an M1A rifle for ranges 25m-800m and it’s been great.
