I ordered two new web belts a while back, one like this in tan and a black Uncle Mike's close to the same style but only 1 1/2" where this one is a claimed 1 3/4". I'll tell ya boyos, that quarter inch makes all the difference. Well, and the webbing material is just a bit heavier on this one as well. I think I could hang drills, guns, a couple of chain saws and maybe a Volkswagen Beatle on this belt and it would hold up just fine. The Velcro is rock solid, the buckle and hanger eye are tough enough for any application you'd care to put 'em to and (again) the webbing of the belt itself is the heaviest and best quality I've ever seen...yet pliable enough to work easily when securing the cinch buckle, etc. I liked that tan one so much I came back and ordered this black one. The Uncle Mike's is OK...nice for everyday & jeans, etc. but this is the one I'd bet the farm on.

Topmost is fit...outstanding. Then there is the number of pockets, here there and everywhere. All in all a well designed and executed item. The material is tough but very comfortable to wear. They also take a wide belt well.
