Reduced muzzle flip BUT.......

Written on Jan 04, 2026

This rating is based on three shooters' opinions after installing the part and shooting the weapon (Glock 19). The installation was easy. Push out the original pin and put in the new part. Perfect fit and sturdy. For disassembly, you have to push out the part about a 1/4 inch, rotate it in order use the slide lock but not too bad. We took turns shooting the weapon from low ready to close contact positions, two hand grip. We all agree that you cannot press down too hard on the part, it causes the gun to dip but with the right amount of force, it helps with muzzle flip. We all reported during rapid fire, the thumb would occasionally slip off. Our double tap accuracy improved from the low ready position but a little awkward getting that thumb on the rest from the draw. One very important thing to know, it will NOT fit all holsters. Overall, YMMV. ( I will test it on my Glock 29 SF 10mm in the future)

Great product

Charged it up and took it to a local outdoor range. I set it up next to my old Chrony that I have had for 20 years and compare it. The readings were about the same with a recorded difference of around of 3 to 10 fps. The handgun tested was a Wilson Combat 1911 45 ACP shooting Federal match 185 gr 6 shot string. The rifle tested was a AR 308 platform with a 21 inch match barrel shooting Winchester white box 308, 10 shot string. The readings deviations were around 7 to 20 fps . I think the deviations may have something to do with the oriented distance. The old Chrony was set up approximately 10 feet in front of the muzzle and the Rangecraft was set up next to the gun and slightly in front of the muzzle. I don't think the deviations made too much difference because the fps were well within range of each fired round for accuracy. Reloads may be a different story. Overall, the Ringmaster is accurate, easy to use and had more features such as calculating for bullet energy and power factors.

Versatile and easy fit

This is a very adjustable mag holster in every perspective. It's a swivel so you can cant it for a fast draw. The magazines can be adjusted for tightness with a switch from the outside without tools and it comes with two belt loops. One paddle and one loop for different kind of carry. It's a sturdy reinforced plastic pouch so it can be washed with soap and water.

Classic 55

PRO: Easy to use and versatile. Meters very well for most black powders except for Pyrodex. ( Pyrodex powder substitute on occasions get stuck a little when you pull on the handle to charge a case). Smokeless powder (AA 5744, Cowboy powder, and RX7), worked without any issue, and meters very accurately. The powder drop tubes that comes with the measure worked very well, and dispensed the powder very evenly into the case. The measure comes with a knocking device that ensure no powder get stuck in the tube. Overall, its the best bang for the buck.

CON: The powder measure requires a complete disassembly for cleaning prior to use, and the same after using black powder. There is a very sharp edge on the inside of the measure body left over from the casting process that could easily cut your hand when cleaning. Careful use of a Dremel tool will solve that issue. The plating on the inside of the measure is not the best I ve seen. Bare metal is exposed, therefore, required cleaning after black powder is used. If you are going to use a powder stand, use one that has a thread. The RCBS will not work for this measure.
