Good Addition compared to factory trigger
Written on Jul 25, 2020
I have installed this trigger on an existing Glock trigger guard and also purchased the trigger bar with the trigger installed. Both perform the same.
Buying just the triggers involves removing the factory trigger from the trigger bar and installing this one. It's not difficult - but you will destroy the factory trigger when removing it as you need to drive the pin holding it in place out which causes damage to the trigger itself. I used a vise and business cards (to protect the sides of the trigger) to push the pin in place. It is slightly tricky in that you need to line up the pin with the hole in the trigger bar.
After that, just move the trigger back and forth on it's hinge point before installing it in the weapon to make sure it pivots smoothly.
As long as the trigger bar is out of the weapon, you might as well polish the trigger bar. Just Google 25 cent trigger job to see how to do it.
These triggers do not physically change the trigger pull weight, however, due to the different geometry (flatter face) and overtravel stop, the trigger pull does seem smoother and lighter. I've done this on three Glocks and each one feels better.
In short, this trigger is worth it in form and function.

Best Lower Parts Kit Ever

Review for
ERGO AR-15 Enhanced Lower Parts Kit
Okay, perhaps the title is an overstatement as there are so many out there. However, of the others that I've used, this is by far the best and most complete kit.
For this to be the case for you, you have to like the Ergo grip. I do. I like it much better than the standard M4 grip and better than Magpul's grip. That said, if you're into the grip, everything else is great.
There are two captive trigger pins which is a nice extra.
The mag release is tapered towards your finger and has a nice feel to it. It's a little thing, but its nice.
The take down pins are tight against the detent. I did find that applying some oil and working them back and forth several times to "wear" them in helped. There is one reviewer that commented on removing the pins being difficult - I don't know about you, but take down pins are captive and should not be removed on a routine basis. You may need to use a cartridge to start the pins out (or a Delrin punch) though.
A surprise was the 45°/90° safety. I didn't know I needed a 45° throw safety until I installed this one. The ambidextrous lever is easy to use and the 45° throw allows me to operate the safety on and off with my strong side hand without changing my grip.
The safety has detents for 45° and 90° throws. Mine came set up for the 45° throw. To change it to the 90° throw, the selector levers would need to be flipped 180° to allow the 90° detents to be in the proper place.
Finally, my lower kit did come with a hex head grip screw and star

Nice Feel, Great attention to detail
Written on Jan 06, 2020
I've added these rail covers to a few of the aluminum, free floating, M-Lok handguards that I have. They're more comfortable to hold than just the plain metal.
The covers easily attach to the M-Lok slots and cover four slots. The strips have cut lines if you want to space out the strips or cut up one to add more to each of the other sides (my handguards only have slots on three sides, so I have one strip to play around with).
I selected these to go with a AeroPrecision Freedom lower which has an American flag on the receiver. To show Ergo's attention to detail, there are two strips with "normal" field and two strips with reverse field flag patterns. This means that you can have the flag flying the proper direction (field forward) on both sides of the handguard.

Magpul MS1 Sling
Written on Nov 11, 2018
Review for
Magpul MS1 Multi-Mission Sling
I have these on all of my AR's. The sling is easily adjusted with one hand via a slide type adjuster. This allows me to rapidly loosen or tighten the sling depending upon how I want to use the sling.
This is a two attachment sling. It does not include the sling swivels. I've paired mine to Grovtec QD swivels. The combination works great.
