I am beginning to think that nothing you buy from Magpul will be a disappointment. I bought this carbine stock to replace the stock mil-type stock on my Rock River carbine. The original stock was a loose fit on the buffer tube and rattled. This stock locks up super tight and feels great. Literally takes less than 30 seconds to remove the old one and install the new one. Just make sure you confirm if your carbine has the mil-spec or Commercial buffer tube, and order the correct stock. My RRA has a Commercial buffer tube which sadly I would have had to replace to go to the FDE parts I was hoping to install. But I bought the black Commercial stock and was so pleased I ordered a second one for another carbine setup. Recommended 100 percent!

VISM AR15 M-LOK Carbine Handguard
I ordered one of these for my Rock River carbine (along with a Midwest Industries Hand Guard Removal Tool For Ar-15, which is excellent!). It was super easy to install and fit perfectly. There is no play or movement of any kind. It came with two nice rail sections and the finish exactly matched my rifle. I really could not have been more pleased with it, especially given the price. So much so that I ordered another one for a second rifle. I recommend this handguard 100 percent!

Better than the stock pad, but requires fitting

These pads come with an optional system for assisting with ejection from the frame. Assembling the 5 small parts can be tedious and I don't understand why anyone would not want to use it, so it should be assembled from the factory. The front of these base pads protruded a sharp edge at the bottom of the frame of my Mk3 22/45 and were unusable without modification. I had to file down the sharp ridge along the curved front face and then buff the filework to get an acceptable finish. This should not be necessary to use these and should be addressed by the manufacturer. Once installed and modified it does the job and makes magazine insertion and lock easier and more positive. Rather than order more of these right away for my other mags I have ordered another brand to see if they are usable right out of the package.
