Removed the wood forearm with the provided key includied, Very easy and fast with know problems. Replaced with the forend flashlight which was a simple procedure. The 6V light is extremely bright and would blind a bad guy! The action is smooth and the on and off power buttons are easily located making my 870 with a 18" barrel a very effective home defense weapon. Showed my sons, son-in-law and friends and they all were very impressed. Hope I never have to use this setup in defense as it is a very deadly weapon which will stop a assailant in their tracks...

I bought a 10" flat head screwdriver to remove the Woodstock from my 870 Rem. The screwdriver is a must have tool. Replaced with the Overmold shotgun stock using a ratchet with a extension. Excellent fit and easy to accomplish. Would recommend this 08710 stock without hesitation....
