My overall opinion of the Midas is MEH so far. Not sure if I like it or not. At this point I think I probably should have spent another hundred or so and bought another Vortex, but thought I would give this a try. Image washes out at higher powers, turrets are a bit too easy to turn; they have a soft click/feel to them, I would prefer something more substantial. Trying to slip the turret scale to Zero (when I finished zeroing) was a pain in the butt, and I was not able to get it to be perfectly on 0 I think it was to do with the set screws not wanting to turn, or something. Just not as easy as the 4 other scopes I have.
As far as shooting with it, I think it is OK at lower powers, and settings, but I am not sure if it is accurate at longer ranges: hits where I want out to 600, but beyond sometimes it hits perfectly, sometimes not. To be fair, it could be me, or the loads I am shooting; I will put a known good scope on the gun figure this out. In the mean time, I'm wanting to like this scope, but I am just not.
