Looks good, but panic purchase mostly
Written on Dec 06, 2025
This is my 3rd Primary Arms optic. I usuay prefer etched reticle optics in case the battery dies but the price was too good to pass on this red dot.
It was mostly a panic buy due to California's new law AB1263 coming into effect Jan 1, 2026 restricting us from having accesories shipped to our home causing me to have backups for my backups. Many online retailers are simply refusing to ship anything to us out of fear of breaking this new vague law so gotta stock up and hope this law is challenged in court and reversed.
It uses a CR2032 battery which is the same as other optics, which I prefer. Again, haven't mounted it yet but will do so at a much later date.

Written on Nov 15, 2024
Perfect H2 buffer/spring combo for 5.56 NATO rifles.
Works in 16" and 18" midlength gas systems.
Zero malfunctions so far.
Quiet spring when racking charging handle.
Ejects brass at 4 o'clock reliably.

Trybe 16" 223 Wylde Barrel = Inexpensive + Surprisingly Good
Written on Nov 15, 2024
Wow. I'll say it again..wow!
Was not expecting this level of quality from Trybe.
It was on sale for $99 and thought to take a chance.
Trybe has not disappointed me.
I also attached a Trybe muzzle brake and both run efficient and smooth.
Have shot hundreds of rounds with zero issues.
It's a 16" midlength 1:8 twist barrel.
I run an H2 Geissele super 42 buffer/spring and Geissele G2S 2 stage trigger.
Microbest chrome BCG runs perfect with this barrel
Zero malfunctions in over 600 rounds.
Can accurately ring steel at 200 yds at the range.
Wow again.
Thank you, Trybe.

DD 18" Midlength 5.56 NATO Very Accurate
Written on Nov 15, 2024
This 18" chrome-lined barrel is very accurate.
Has a 1:7 twist rate and eats 77 grain OTM nicely.
Groupings at 100 yds were 1 MOA.
Shot at 200 yd steel targets and hit most.
It's ~$300 but well worth the investment.
It's a heavy barrel so be ready.
Highly recommend. Can't go wrong.
Shot 223 Rem 55 grain great.
Shot 556 55 grain great.
Shot 556 77 grain OTM tremendously.
I recommend shooting heavy rounds.
Longer barrels deserve heavy rounds.
