This is an excellent scope! Great clarity and value for all the features you get. Beside that you get the Vortex Limited Lifetime Warranty as well which gives me a assurance that the investment made in the scope will not be lost if the unlikely event of a problem with anything failing or breaking on the scope.
The windage and elevation adjustments offer plenty of range and elevation returns to zero easily after the initial adjustment. After making the moves for elevation and wind considerations; you just turn the elevation knob down to the stop and return the windage knob to zero and you are back to the original zero for the yardage that has been dial in during scope set-up.
The clicks on the adjustment knobs are audible and easy to feel them as well. I have found the click adjustment to track very well.
Light gathering characteristics are very good and the reticle illumination can be turned on and off or adjusted for intensity to make target acquirement much easier at dawn and dusk or very cloudy conditions; especially for us older riflemen.
Parallax adjustment on the left side of the scope is a great feature and magnification range is great enough to cover everything from hunting to targets.
I recommend this scope; it functions well and has features of scopes costing twice a much.

I have a number of the Boresnake cleaning systems and have used them since they first came out. The Viper is an improvement to the product line and it seems to do a good job in removing fouling. The wire bristles in the viper are supported better and do a better job of scrubbing the rifling. There is a nylon guide cone added to the Viper to aid in guiding the fabric into bore more easily. I take the Boresnakes to the range with me and find them very handy and easy to use for longer sessions. Clean and lube with one tool.

This is a quiet nylon sling for hunting, With the 1.25" width and a sewn in non-slip material to hold the sling in place it is wide enough to be comfortable and stay on the shoulder while trekking. The slide hardware is easy to move with one hand for length adjustment. While light in weight it keeps its shape well enough while transferring from shoulder carry to shooting position and I can drop my elbow inside the sling and form a solid triangle with shoulders, arms and rifle for a steady shot.
