Answered questions state this is a 50 inch waistband. Mine is only 37 inches adjusted to its maximum. Gave it 3 stars because if you weigh about 170 or less you might find use for it Zippers seem of adequate quality. With its tiny 37 inch length it might make a decent shoulder pack. As a waist pack you have to be very thin
