Great Value, Velco is very sticky

Written on May 14, 2018

This case is a good value. I have not purchased 8 of these in various colors, some for me and some for my son's airsoft guns. The velcro is very aggressive and I shook the case after fitting each pistol and none of them moved. Two other brands that I tried had velco that was probably half the stickiness of this case.

Great value for the money

in general I am always leery of the less expensive brands but I wanted to try some smaller range bags so I could carry more guns and my big range bags with less bulk. I am very happy with this purchase. The Velcro is very strong. Because I was worried about the finish on my firearms, I purchased some neoprene padded Velcro straps. The straps to come with several different brands are just like this one so it was not a deciding factor in whether or not to purchase this one. I also like that there is a large Velcro patch on the side since I can put patches with the specific gone and my name on them it makes it easy to grab the correct out and go. The magazine pouches are mildly measured right. I think I would've preferred having less magazines and having them oriented vertically instead of horizontally but the Velcro flaps do prevent them from moving around or falling out. I purchased 3 with my initial order and and purchasing 3 more. I also ordered a $47 Helikon-Tex range bag from another site and it is so thin that I can see and feel the outline of the gun with anything larger than a Glock 19 and that is without even putting magazines in the pouches.

Extremely happy with this case

This is only the second review I have ever done because I'm usually too laze. I had read some of the positive and negative reviews on this site and some others. I'm cheap but I took the risks and ordered one of them. It is absolutely perfect for either storing or carrying your Glock to the range so I ordered 2 more of them. It has just enough padding to protect pistol but not be bulky. I put too much lube on the slide and it wiped off with minimal effort. I use them for a Glock 17, 19, 20 and 23. The Glock 20 was very tight but it softened up over a couple of weeks and has almost molded to the gun. In a medium size range bag I can get 3 Pistol plus 2 of the 10 round Glock magazine carriers and eye/ear protection. That is pretty darn efficient. I'll probably order one more for my 1911. I put a small dessicant pouch in it just for prevention of moisture if the pistols are going to stay in the bag for more than one month. I would love a larger size for the new Glock MOS pistols. Very highly recommended!

Great concept, works exactly how I wanted them to

This is one of those great ideas that you wish you had thought of. I have now bought these for every caliber that uses AR style magazines. They are very strong, durable and highly elastic and they stay at the bottom of the mag where you want them to. They are easily washed if you get any oil or grease on them. I am extremely happy with them and have ordered multiple packages so that I have some for when I get more rifles. If only I had thought of it!

Good for empty mags. Not so much for full mags

The overall concept of this Magazine pouch is quite good and has the flexibility to hold pretty much any Magazine that you have. The major negative is that the elastic straps are not super elastic but they can still hold magazines in reasonably well. The biggest drawback is the overall construction is not sufficiently sturdy to carry full magazines. My goal was to have a place to put my extended pistol magazines and 33 round magazines in and this does a very good job of this. I would not fill the pouch with more than half of the magazines filled. Do not by this with the intention of filling it with completely filled magazines and make it your bug out pouch.
