Love midwest products and this mount is the all time best for ak period. It dont get any better it rides close to the topcover though so make sure you dont have a fat scope. The qd has no play with soild lockup. The top rings mount up soild no question they will stay. Overall a nice high quality ak mount i really like.

Looks good sounds good but when you start shooting small parts and things start flying off everywhere the battery cover has very cheap thin threads that were stripped right out of the box and zoom isnt as good as expected. Very very disappointed after dropping almost 400$ on a scope and mount that is broke and cant use after one trip to the range
