Almost good, but returned
Written on Nov 16, 2025
I wanted this head after watching several YouTube reviews for both glasses g, and being able to switch over and shoot off.
For glassing this would be really great, but after throwing a 10 lb AR10 on top I came to the realization the ball just doesn’t have enough bite to hold tilted angles. I was also disappointed in the fine tuning function of the small thread. There is really no fine tune middle point, it more or less is on or off.
Ended up returning and am on the search for something else.

Two Vets Tripods Inc No Name V2 Tripod
This thing is a beast and handles everything. I shot an elk at 750 yards off of this tripod this last hunt and felt super steady. I love that it’s tall enough for me to stand without bending and tilt up while glassing without having to bend my knees. There are lighter options in the lineup, but this is my new favorite!

Better than AEMs

I have been a Holosun fan, but have branched out on a few Swamp Fox products lately. I have not been disappointed!
This Raider has an awesome reticle with very functional BDC built in. The glass is crisp and the reticle is sharp.
Perfect for my 300 blackout setup!

Fostech Sabre AR-15 Comfort Grip
These are great grips. Soft rubber which sticks to a hand or glove in both cold and hot conditions. Texture is great and I really like the finger separation. I’ve used ergo and hogue as well, and these seem to fit my hand extremely well. I have a large hand, and I’ve let people with small hands use this and they prefer the hogue which is a bit more slender.
Unlike the review below says, it’s not flimsy or cheap. Highly recommend these!

Trijicon 10x42mm HD Waterproof Binoculars
So I did a lot of research and comparing before I purchased these. Nobody has them locally in stock, do I had to do my homework. I must say I am more pleased than I expected. First, the eye relief is incredible. No chasing black circles around when first drawn to the eyes. I have looked at many high end optics and this is an annoyance when you have to move the binos around your eye just to see. The glass is also incredible! I do believe in low light situations a set of Leica or Swaros you may have better vision, but for all other situations I'd say these are just as good... Especially considering they are a fraction of the cost. Highly recommend these for even the snobbyest gear people as you'll be impressed!

Works as described, easy to dial in the field
Written on Sep 10, 2018
I stuck this on a 556 that I shoot suppressed. It definitely helps get the gas blow-back out of your face when shooting suppressed. It even blows a fair amount of the gasses to the right side. I even had a shooting partner say "what the!?!" when he got a small gust of gas blow off at him a few feet away to the side.
Took me just a few minutes to dial it into the setting for my particular gun/suppressor combo. Highly recommend trying this if you can stomach the high price instead of ripping out your gas block to install an adjustable one.

Wouldn't hold zero, had to return. Disappointing to say the least.

trijicon-rmr-dual-illum-red-dot-sight
Spent two mornings on the range trying to get this dialed in. Just when I thought I would have it the sight's dot would jump several inches on the next shot. Did this over and over. Defective unit.
Yes I it was tight on the mount, definitely double and triple checked to see if I had made a dumb mistake which I didn't. Just a bad Trijicon.
