Works better than expected

Review for
Vertx SOCP Tactical Fanny Pack
Works as advertised. Can carry either a 5" 1911 with 1 to 4 extra mags or a S&W K frame 4" barrel with 2 speed loaders in the two wing pockets. Plus wallet, phone, tourniquet, knife, light, ect. Velcro wrap in CCW compartment molds nicley to different firearms. Been carrying it for 3-4 months and no busted seams or fouled zippers. Only caveats are the size adjusting straps loosen unless you knot them around the belt part or whatever it's called. Also the red pull open for the CCW part opens if you have the zippers meet at the corner. Taken to moving where the zippers meet a little inside and it stays closed.
Two thumbs up.

you get what you pay for

it was recommended by an instructor where I attend firearms training. It's my first optic on my first ar15, so I went cheap to see how it worked for me.
All in all, it was a successful experiment.
It is much better than iron sights as my vision was never good to start with and is getting worse with age. I am still getting used to the controls and so on.
Adjusting the illumination was a bit stiff, but really liked the option of 10 different intensities in either red or green. Like the chevron donut.
The illumination feature has failed after 8 months (yes, tried multiple new batteries).
I do believe I'm going to go to a better scope, vortex, primary, leopold, because I'm concerned about long term durability. going to keep it as a backup or maybe mount it on the mak90 I hardly ever shoot anymore.
