If amazing glass and battle proven durability, with no battery and electronics to go bad is your priority, then this scope is worth every penny. An A+ for SHTF dependability. Mount a small reddot to it and it is and will always be all you ever need for a 5.56 platform AR-15 battle rifle.

You get what you pay for. These to me are more important than a red dot on my pistol. I have Trijicon sights on a few of my most important guns.

Thats nothing new from Vortex scopes. They are the value for price scope. This 3x15x44 Venom came fast from OP. This Venom 3x15x44 is bright and clear with a great reticle. It is not a light scope but it’s going on my Ruger II 6.5 Grendel bolt rifle. If you want weight reduction in a scope like this, you will be paying more than double the price. Would buy it again if weight was not an issue.

I love the fact that “IF” i ever have to use my weapon, that some ambulance chasing lawyer can’t go after the “custom gun” BS. I was a juror on a famous trial and saw how they tore the gun apart and looked for that million dollar money maker part, that they could find fault with. This trigger is made by Glock for the Glock Gen5. i am testing at 4 pounds consistant pull. No stacking once I dry fired it and used a drop of Frog Oil.I like the fact that it is exactly like my Glock 24 match pistol. Same consistant 4 pound pull. Same take up, and same feel. I have had slightly better triggers for my Glocks, but for personal every day carry it is perfect. It is the only EDC trigger I would ever buy for my 19 Gen5 MOS

In the last 4-5 years, glass, glass coatings, and the coating processes have been unbelievable as far as this class of scope. Etched reticle and a mount. A prisim with this kind of glass would have cost double or tripple just 5 years ago. Mounted on an AR-15- 6.5 Grendel pistol so centering the weigjht of this thing was a blessing in disguise. Tamed the recoil and ballanced the weight as i am runing it without a muzzle break. Great optic at a smokin deal so far.

Bought this for my Glock 24 with a Barsto 6.75 inch threaded barrel. I see the negative comments, but it works amazing in my setup. I have a pistol brace for the Glock so weight is no problem. This comp reduces recoil and sends sound down range for my situation. May work so well because it is on a 40S&W. Needed 9/16x24 threads, and this comp has them. Really looks cool too. Gets lots of attention at the range.

Been firing my sons AR with an EDT Hyperfire trigger. Wanted a duty trigger. He told mev about the EDT and I borrowed his rifle and he is afraid I wont give it back lol. Love this trigger as a duty trigger. It helps eliminate any lawyering if I ever get in that situation. This trigger, as good as it is, can be tested and pass any police department requirements. Great safe trigger. I have a comp gun with a Hyperfire 24. It is the best amazing trigger ever, but at $225, it should be. This trigger with the 4.5 pound spring feels much liter and is super fast. Reset is short, audible and no grit in either direction. He /we have around 5-600 rounds so it is well broken in. If you want the best sub $100 trigger out tere give this thing a try. Only a trigger snob would rate this trigger less than 5* for the cost and safety of havind a duty trigger with all the benifits and no drawbacks. If you are on the fence, try one out. You will be sold

Had an older barrel in my P226. Decided to look for a threaded one. Hard to find. Found it on OP at the best price. Shipped quickly. It might be my imagination, But it fits nice and tight and my groups tightened up also. Thanks OP

I have had this scope for 8 years, and I have used it a lot. For the price, this scope is very hard to beat. Accurate easily out to 450 yards with these old eyes. No batteries, and i have the green chevron/triangle. What is on the point gets hit. I just got use to using the chevron and you can see your whole target that isn’t covered up with lines and dots. I am use to holdovers needed. Kinda like a red dot with 3-9 power. Very quick and I mean very quick to get on target.

Bought the "Exclusive tan” (only at Optics Planet)CMR-206 Rail Master for my home defense weapon. Cheaper here at O.P than Amazon. Amazon list this CMT 206 at $113.99 , but with ship, handling and tax it is $129+ delivered. I paid less here for the tan one and because O.P. had no hidden extra charges, with regular shipping, it was $10 cheaper bought at O.P.. I have one of these on my Glock 35 and it has stayed zeroed after 850 rounds of hot 40 S&W. This thing brought my groups down over an inch at 25 yards. Great training tool. This one is going on my home defense handgun. I was going to get the Light/Laser combo, but this thing lights the room up enough that I am not going to need the LED light. Highly recommended at O.P.
