Mostly useless for winter hunt

I do not recommend this system unless you will be using it at temp 35 and above.
What I found out (and confirmed by SIG) is the units become useless in sub freezing temperatures.
The batteries will not function when you need it the most. Maybe next hunt I keep the rangefinder in my pocket and put a hand warmer on scope’s battery compartment. Sig needs to update their specs and let consumers know before buying.
