Product advertised everywhere as 0.2oz; comes in at twice that on a precision scale. This is about half as much as a standard forward assist. No need to falsely report weights, SI. Just give us the truth.

As mentioned by another, you have to be okay with slightly more rattle in your stock than with a standard buffer tube. If you are okay with this, it's good to go. Did not experience any receiver fitment issues as mentioned by that same user.

When it works, it works well. Problem is the odds of nothing being wrong off the bat are not in your favor. If you don't have the problems already mentioned here, one problem you may have to look forward to is your hand flying off the charging handle when attempting to charge the weapon - because the bolt carrier stopped cold at the port cover's inside 'pop-open groove' on three of four BCM upper receivers tested (the one it worked in was an older example; current-production BCM receivers have this issue). Never experienced anything like this after a decade of experience on the platform. Testing showed, using the same bolt carrier and charging handle in multiple uppers, that it was upper receiver-dependent. By contrast, the Strike Industries port cover had no issues in every upper tested.

There is not enough spring tension to keep the sight raised to full height once flipped up, resulting in freeplay and inconsistent flip-up height. No confidence the sight will reliably return to zero with each flip-up.

Without having used the monocular much, it seems to be good to go. However, I had a question for ATN about one of the included parts, and sent them an email. Weeks later, no response. So I called the number on the back of the manual, was put into a wait queue for several minutes, and when my turn came in line, I was auto-transferred. After a number of rings I was informed that no one was going to answer my call, that the voicemail box was full, and I was out of luck unless I knew an extension to dial at that point. Fortunately I was able to figure out what I needed on my own. God forbid I need any real help from ATN for my very, very expensive monocular.

This light has never failed to function when I even think about actuating it. Paired with a remote switch, it is utterly reliable, can take a hit, and just plain works. I trust my life to this light, as does the US Army. I recommend this light to everyone who is serious about defending their life.

Unlike every other momentary light I've used, the switch on this one is difficult to activate: you will find yourself pressing quite hard just to get to the switch beneath the rubber pad. God forbid you ever have to use this in a defensive situation, where anything other than the proper technique of digging into the pad with your thumb will not result in activation. Only useful if your thumb can comfortably reach the button where you mount it: there appears to be no option for attaching a remote switch.
Disclaimer: I received this as a free gift from Inforce customer service due to fundamental design problems with another one of their weapon lights. Even after receiving it for free, I feel only more disdain for the brand. My experience with Inforce is that they do not seem to understand that weapon lights are primarily for defense of life, rather than casual recreation. After seeing their best, the brand is now a definite no-go for me and anyone I recommend weapon lights to.
