I purchased this cheek riser hesitantly , worried that there would be a lot of play between the riser and the GL- Core stock. However there’s 3 hex screws that clamp it down to prevent any wobble or play. You have to almost completely remove these screws to get it on due to it’s tight fit which is great. So if your worried about this riser not being sturdy that’s not an issue at all. You can adjust to angle the riser on the front or back end. that adjustment is also held by a hex screw in the middle so no worries there.

Only thing I will caution about which is more of a matching issue, is that this riser will make it too tall for a 1” height scope mount . For red dots it’s fine and no problem there as I’ve tried both. But for a scope on a 1” mount it is not compatible and angling the riser for the front or back will not change that. Just keep that in mind when trying to pair this with a scope mount for equal heights.

Size : each section measures out to 5.5 inches or 3 1/2 M-Lok Slots. 2 Sections fit perfectly over 7 slots which is standard on 15” Mlok Handguards.

The texture is great and gives a good grip , which to top it off these covers are very slim and the grooves on the edges sit flush which was my biggest worry when ordering them and I’m glad they look and feel great.

The one thing I will advise everyone which to me wasn’t a big deal but to some it might be, BCM FDE is not the same shade as Magpul FDE. It is lighter , not extremely noticeable but for reference it’s similar to FAB defenses FDE which is also lighter.

5 sections of MLOK textured covers come in the set which is enough to cover 17 1/2 MLOK slots total. I only needed 4 to do the the sides and I used the extra one to throw underneath the at the 6 o clock position.

They fit pretty snug and require minimal force to snap on, I don’t recommend repeatedly removing and attaching these as it could wear off that tight fit. Overall I give these a 10/10 and couldn’t be happier.

Timber Creek makes great accessories and their FDE matches great with magpul FDE. The Ambi selector was easy to install with no issues and looks amazing. Installed this on a Aero M4E1 and couldn’t be happier . To top it off the price of these in comparison to other ambi selectors makes it an easy choice.
