Better then expected - FAB Defense GCCP Cheek Riser for GL-Core Buttstock

I purchased this cheek riser hesitantly , worried that there would be a lot of play between the riser and the GL- Core stock. However there’s 3 hex screws that clamp it down to prevent any wobble or play. You have to almost completely remove these screws to get it on due to it’s tight fit which is great. So if your worried about this riser not being sturdy that’s not an issue at all. You can adjust to angle the riser on the front or back end. that adjustment is also held by a hex screw in the middle so no worries there.

Only thing I will caution about which is more of a matching issue, is that this riser will make it too tall for a 1” height scope mount . For red dots it’s fine and no problem there as I’ve tried both. But for a scope on a 1” mount it is not compatible and angling the riser for the front or back will not change that. Just keep that in mind when trying to pair this with a scope mount for equal heights.
