As my nickname might suggest, I am into the 80% build market. I found these sights on OP's subsidiary site (scruffy guy with aviator sunglasses and helmet), and jumped on them there to upgrade the OEM cheapo plastic ones on a Glock project slide. Had originally planned to make that a 9mm, but slides were scarce, so I went 40sw. When 9mm slides became available again I went to OP for another set of these sights as soon as the budget allowed. They are bright in daylight or dim daytime indoor conditions and the Tritium makes them easy to find in the dark, should the need arise for them to help me defend my self / family at night. Solid steel body is much preferable to plastic in a part of a life-saving machine, and the rear having a slightly hooked leading edge makes it possible to rack the slide one-handed on a pocket or edge of a shoe or table if the other hand is out of action or busy pushing family behind cover or using a flashlight.
