Suggested Design Modification - As with everything I have purchased made by Vortex, the build quality is excellent. That said, when using this mount for binoculars, there is one design issue that could be improved. The pan/tilt/lock handle is positioned such that it points directly back into the face/chin of the operator. This design makes it difficult and inconvenient to get the necessary eye relief for proper viewing out of binoculars. If the pan/tilt/lock control lever were offset, preferably to the right (imagine yourself sitting the the drivers seat of your truck and having the ability to move your right arm over the steering wheel), it would be easier to get your face properly situated for binocular eye relief. While I have not tried it, this may not be an issue with a spotting scope due to the difference in the size of a scope versus a set of binoculars. Attaching the the Car Window Mount on the window backwards so the pan/tilt/lock handle is outside the vehicle is not ideal. Mounting the binoculars such that the handle is either left or right simply does not work because the pan and tilt become useless.

The Vortex Pro Binocular Adapter is an improvement over the Sport version that has the same purpose. While it is more money, this quick release adapter provides more security for your binocular investment. A suggested simple enhancement would be the addition of a rubber flat washer that could be inserted below the base so the Vortex Pro Bino Adapter does not swivel on the 1/4" x 20 tripod mount screw attaching it to a tripod.

The Vortex Pro Binocular Adapter is a piece of kit that makes it easy to pop binos on and off the adapter mount. It is worth the expense to have a stud for each set of binos so they are ready to go and you are not trying to keep track of small parts and associated tools that could easily be lost in the field.

Excellent pair of binoculars from a brand that stands behind their products with a top tier warranty. The included Glasspack Pro bino harness is an excellent addition to the overall investment. Clarity is really good, whether wearing eye glasses or not. Consider the Vortex tripod attachment hardware for an even better experience.

This is a solid light for a Sig P320 Compact that was easy to install and provides better light than a previous version. Rechargeable batteries are much appreciated. Recommended.
