I like this scope a lot the glass is clear the turrets are locking lift to set snap down to lock, the illumination is great daylight bright when turned all the way up adjust down for low light & the cross hairs all light up as well as the main duplex
I mounted this to a 16" AR 223 Rem and have killed 4 ground hogs around the barn lot and am quite confident in the scope and the clarity and brightness for home defense close combat I wouldn't hesitate to defend my home with this scope and rifle set up,which is the real reason I bought it! The eye relief is No! problem either if you are used to using a rifle scope! Also @ 1 power the scope is a true 1x I can easily use it with both eyes open with a completely flat field of view, I would have given it 5 stars except it is not as clear as a $1000 rifle scope , If you buy it on sale I got it for $115 delivered it can not be beaten.
