Hello,
I have an older version of this safe and I had an incident last night where I needed access to my gun quickly because we heard someone in our backyard. My primary home defense weapon is kept in my GunVault. Upon trying to use my access code it would not open. I had to o find my key and eventually open it. Needless to say this was not acceptable so I contacted their customer service after seeing online other had the same issue. Here is their exact response:

I do apologize for the inconvenience.We' are not why the unit did not indicate the battery was low since this safe is a very hold maybe the cause was an electronic issue.Thank you for choosing Gun Vault. Gerry Lara | Customer Experience Department

After sending them video evidence people have posted about this issue they just ignored me and never responded back . Do not trust this safe nor this company!

One of the worst unboxing experiences I have ever had. Just trying to log onto their App took hours and had to get their customer service involved. Three days of trying and still do not have it working. Their customer service will just send you long lists of steps to perform, half of them are not even correct or reflect what you see on their App. Read the reviews online about GunBox and also their App before you buy. They have no concept of customer service or out of box experience. Stay away as there are better options available to you. This product just does not work.
